The baptismal record for Anna Juliana Schwert indicates that her father was "Franz Schwert" and that her mother was "Julia Schlier Ketsch." The record is from July 21, 1889, Saint Boniface R.C. Church, Buffalo, NY. Father Kolb, who made the entry, is known for making numerous misspellings. However, the possibility is that Julia Schwert had earlier been married to a Mr. Ketsch. We seek additional information on this. |
